The Fraction Fun has begun! Here's a list of concepts we've covered: -Adding & Subtraction fractions with like denominators. -Equivalent fractions - See if your child can list equivalent fractions for 1/2 or 1/3 or 4/5. . . -GCF (Greatest Common Factors) - 1st: List the factors for 2 different numbers. 2nd: Identify the common factors. 3rd: Circle the GREATEST factor which both numbers share. -Fractions in simplest form. What's the simplest form of 4/6? 6/8? 14/16? In November & December, we'll be learning about: -Comparing and ordering fractions -Converting fractions to decimals and percents
