Using the Media Center
Students visit the Media Center once a week.
Open Library times are also scheduled every day. With teacher permission, students can return and check out books.
1st and 2nd graders check out books for one week.
3rd, 4th and 5th graders check books out for two weeks.
Parents may check out books from the Mary Castle Library.
Library books should be put in the Book Return Basket in the classroom as soon as the student arrives on Library day.
Library books forgotten on Library day should be returned the next day.
If there is no school on Library day, students should bring their books on the next school day.
