Young Hoosier Book Award
2009-2010 YHBA Winners!

The winners have been announced!
The Middle Grades winner is The Cryptid Hunters by Roland Smith.  The Intermediate Grades winner is A Dog's Life by Ann Martin.

The FCVMS Library Media Center promotes and supports the Young Hoosier Book Award each school year.  The Middle Grades list of books is available for students to read throughout the year.  Students who read at least five of the books and pass the Accelerated Reader quizzes for those books are eligible to vote in April for their favorite book.  Students from across the state participate each year in this promotional reading program.  The winning authors receive an award from AIME , the sponsoring organization.  Books are also available at public libraries and bookstores during the year, too.
