Site Overview
The purpose of this site is to give course instructors a place to find information directly related to you and your job as an online instructor. Think of it as a “Teacher’s Work Room”!

Here you will find:
  • Facilitator specific IUPUI information.
  • A calendar of upcoming due dates and reminders.
  • Resources to help you build your course. (Syllabus template, grading scale, netiquette tips, and more.)
  • Resources to help you build community & engage the online learner.
  • Classroom management tips for record keeping and tools to help you assess learning and/or task completion.
  • Tutorialsto help you and your students to work in the online environment.
  • Contact information for people who can assist you with problems or concerns you may be having.

Be sure your image (avatar) and those of your course participants are posted in your haiku profile! Once they are, we'll be able to see you (and you’ll be able to see them) when interacting in the discussion area.

        follow the instructions.

8)    If you are ordering a text, fill in the information requested in Step 3.

9)    Complete Step 4

10)   In Step 5, enter your name in this space so I can verify that you ordered
under the correct course / section number.

11)     Click "Continue"

12)     Print this page, then click "Send to Bookstore"  (don't click the "print
and send to bookstore" as it doesn't work )

After you have submitted your order, you will receive a printable confirmation and within 1-2 days, a confirmation e-mail from me.  IF YOU NEED DESKCOPIES, please forward that confirmation e-mail to me with a note that you need deskcopies (state specific titles) so that I'll have all the information I need to place the order.

Overview

The cohort will use MSDLT's new learning management system, haiku LMS. As online instructors navigate through the site using the various functions, they will learn how to use the tools. All instructors (and participants) will have the opportunity to use and learn the new management system.

Please articulate your needs so we can updated this site with new information, articles, weblinks, and other support materials.  Consider this "a work in progress"!   Hopefully,  this site will be a very important source of support for you and future instructors.
